No. 11 FH Shuts Out Providence, 4-0

Providence, R.I. - The No. 11 UConn Huskies field hockey team (7-2) took home a convincing 4-0 win against the Providence Friars on Friday afternoon at Lennon Family Field in Providence, RI.
Freshman Juana Garcia led the way for UConn with a pair of goals in the first half of the game. McKenna Sergi and Julia Bressler each had one goal to round out the exciting afternoon at Providence.
Cheyenne Sprecher notched her third shutout of the season after coming up with four saves on the afternoon.
Next up, the Huskies will return home to face No. 9 Princeton on Sunday, October 2nd at 12p.m. at Sherman Family Sports Complex.
