No. 11 FH Falls to No. 9 Princeton at Home

No. 11 UConn Huskies field hockey team (7-3) lost to No. 9 Princeton Tigers (7-4) at home on Sunday afternoon at the George Sherman Sports Complex.
The Tigers opened with a pair of goals in the first quarter, tacking on another from a penalty shot in the second quarter and a final goal in the fourth quarter on an open net.
Both Madi Herb and Sol Simone scored for the Huskies in the fourth quarter of the game. This goal was the first of the season for the sophomore from PA, Madi Herb.
Goalie, Cheyenne Sprecher, made four saves on the day in the loss against the Tigers.
The Huskies will host Quinnipiac on Friday at 1:00p.m. and No. 1 UNC on Sunday at 1:00p.m. in Storrs, CT in a homestand next weekend.
