#12 UConn Set for Home and Home Against Holy Cross

STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut women's ice hockey team is set for the home and home series against Holy Cross with a game at home on Friday, Nov. 17 and travel game in Worscester, Mass., on Saturday, Nov. 18.Â
The Huskies enter the series as the No. 12 ranked team in the women's ice hockey national poll. UConn is also currently riding on a six-game winning streak with a 7-3-1 overall record and 6-3 in Hockey East play. The women last time out, swept the weekend series against Maine in Orono with a 1-0 win on Nov. 10 and a 3-1 win on Nov. 11. Leading the way for the Huskies is Jada Habisch as Habisch finished with three goals last weekend with a goal in both games. Habisch has now scored in the last four games and earning five of seven total goals on the season so far. Goaltender Tia Chan also closed out last weekend with a highlighted 52 saves and allowing only one goal. Chan now has a total of 214 saves this season.Â
Scouting Holy Cross
Entering the matchup, the Crusaders are 3-6-2 overall and 2-3-2 in Hockey East action. Last time out, on Nov. 10 and Nov. 11, Holy Cross skated to a 2-2 tie against Merrimack in the first home and home series game and then dropped the second game at home 4-3. Leading the way for the Crusaders are Millie Sirum and Alexis Perry with a combined 10 goals and seven assists this season.Â
UConn vs. Holy Cross is scheduled for a 6 p.m. puck drop on Friday and Saturday and both games can be streamed live on ESPN+.
