Huskies Hit The Road For More Hockey East Action

STORRS, Conn. - Â The UConn women's hockey team hits the road for a two-game road trip to the University of Maine beginning November 10. Puck drop for both games is scheduled for 2pm and can be streamed live on ESPN+.
The no.12 UConn Huskies are currently coming off a weekend sweep against no.13 Northeastern in which they scored four goals while posting shutouts in both games. With the sweep, the Huskies found themselves back in the national polls, jumping all the way to 12.
Hockey East co-goaltenders of the week Megan Warrener and Tia Chan continue to lead the Huskies. The tandem currently leads the nation with a .958 save% and has allowed the fewest goals (10) amongst all NCAA Division I teams.
On the offensive side of the puck, the Huskies are led by senior Jada Habisch. Through nine games, Habisch currently has four goals scored. Additionally, the Huskies are led by graduate student Coryn Tormala who has two goals and five assists for a team leading seven points.
The Black Bears are coming off a weekend split with no.14 Boston College. Maine took game one by a final of 4-3 before dropping game two by a final of 4-2. Leading the way for the Black Bears is Ida Kuoppala who currently has 10 goals and five assists in 10 games for 15 points, and Ann-Frederique Guay who has nine goals and two assists for 11 points. Â
