Huskies Fall to new Hampshire Friday Night

DURHAM, NH. – The UConn Huskies fell to the New Hampshire Wildcats Friday night by a final of 4-1. New Hampshire sunk two empty net goals late in the third period to seal the win over the Huskies.
New Hampshire opened the scoring early in the first period as they were awarded a penalty shot following an interference call on defenseman Roman Kinal. Chase Stevenson sunk the shot for the wildcats to give them the lead. New Hampshire increased their lead late in the second period as the wildcats collected a bouncing puck following a Logan Terness save and scored to give them the 2-0 lead heading into the period break.
