No. 9 HookC Hosts Seton Hall at Elliot Ballpark

STORRS, Conn. - The No. 9 UConn baseball (32-11, 8-3 BIG EAST) hosts Seton Hall (25-19, 7-5 BIG EAST) in a three-game series at Elliot Ballpark beginning Friday, May 5 at 7:35 p.m.Â
Saturday's game time is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. and Sunday's game on CW20 will start at 2:30 p.m. All three games will be FREE on UConn+ and on MIXLR.
The home stand also brings some great promotions with Friday night having $2 Miller Lite's and $2 off popcorn, while supplies last. Sunday's game will be Youth Day with all kids 12 and under getting in for free and post game will have opportunity to run the bases. If interested please register for Youth Day HERE.

The Huskies enter the weekend coming off a 3-0 week that featured a mini two-game sweep at Villanova. The final game was canceled due to heavy rain fall. UConn enters the weekend a half-game back of Creighton in the BIG EAST standings and a half-game lead on Xavier for second place in the conference.
Seton Hall is coming off impressive road series win at Xavier last weekend. The Pirates are just two games back of first and 1.5 GB of the Huskies in the BIG EAST standings. They currently hold the fourth and final spot in the BIG EAST Championship with three weeks left to play.Â
The Huskies enter their final home stand of the season with seven games at Elliot Ballpark. UConn is 10-3 in Storrs this season and are 44-8 all-time at Elliot Ballpark.Â
UConn is ranked No. 9 in both the D1Baseball.com and USA Today Coaches Polls this week. The single-digit ranking is the highest for the program since the 1979 College World Series team.Â
