18 Huskies Named to Hockey East All-Academic Team

STORRS, Conn. – The Hockey East Association announced their annual academic awards for the 2022-23 season with 18 Huskies selected to earn All-Academic Team honors.
Hockey East announced a record 185 student-athletes have been named to the 2022-23 Women's All Academic Team. Each Student athlete achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or better in each academic period during which they were actively competing in Hockey East.
Of the 18 Huskies selected, 12 student-athletes earned the honor for a second time or better. Recent graduates, Mackenzie Nicholas, Kate Thurman, Coryn Tormala, Cam Wong, and Kaitlyn Yearwood were one of 22 players in the league to reach "Distinguished Scholar" status in 2022-23, having qualified for the All-Academic team in each of the four seasons of varsity play.
