WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – The UConn women's field hockey team defeated the Monmouth Hawks on Sunday afternoon in a 2-1 contest for their first win of the season. It was a warm day for field hockey, but the Huskies got it done to make them 1-1 on the season.
