Track & Field Set for 2024 Indoor BIG EAST Championships This Weekend

STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut men's and women's track and field teams are set for the 2024 Indoor BIG EAST Championships Presented by JEEP in Chicago at Dr. Conrad Worrill Indoor Track and Field Center cohosted by DePaul and the BIG EAST Conference on Friday, Feb. 23 and Saturday, Feb. 24. Â
The men head into the competition in search of their fourth straight indoor BIG EAST Championship and the women head into competition in search of their third straight indoor BIG EAST Championship. Last season the UConn men won with an astounding 199.5 points and the UConn women won with an impressive 169 points.Â
This season, the Huskies look to continue where they left off. In the indoor regular season, UConn finished with 36 new top-10 all-time marks in program history, five BIG EAST athletes of the week awards, and three new indoor school records in the women's 60m hurdles, the men's 60m hurdles, and the women's 1000M. Â
The start time is noon ET on Friday and Saturday. Both days can be streamed live on the BIG EAST digital network on FloSports. Â
