Huskies Set for Road Game vs Wildcats

DURHAM, N.H. – The UConn women's lacrosse team (0-3) is set to take on the UNH Wildcats (2-2) on Wednesday at 2:00 pm for their fourth road game in a row to start the season.
Both UConn and UNH are coming off a loss this past weekend. UConn was edged out by Saint Joseph's in a match-up in Philly on Friday afternoon. The Wildcats fell to Holy Cross at home on Saturday for their second loss of the season. UConn is 13-7 all-time against UNH, including a 17-6 home win last season.
Grad student, Kate Shaffer, notched four goals in the loss to SJU, her current season-high. Rayea Davis and Susan Lafountain each had two goals, continuing their strong offensive presence. Riley Daly, a junior defensive player, had a solid performance on defense as she tallied three caused turnovers, three draw controls, and two ground balls.
