Huskies Close Out Regular Season Against Quinnipiac

STORRS, Conn.—UConn women's field hockey concludes the regular season on Friday, hitting the road to face in-state foe Quinnipiac at 3:00 pm.
The Huskies went 2-0 last weekend, defeating Old Dominion 2-1 in double overtime at home and beating Fairfield 3-2 on the road. Sol Simone scored the overtime winner against the Monarchs. Simone leads UConn with 13 points on the season.
UConn is 9-7 on the season with a 5-1 record in BIG EAST play. The Huskies have clinched the second seed in next week's conference tournament.
Quinnipiac enters the game with a 10-7 record and a 2-4 mark in conference play. The Bobcats split last weekend's games, falling to Georgetown 3-1 before taking down UMass Lowell 5-1.
UConn has won all 19 meetings in the all-time series, defeating Quinnipiac 6-0 in their most recent meeting on October 11th, 2024.
