Huskies Set for Home and Home Series with New Hampshire

» The Huskies are set to kick off a home and home series with the University of New
Hampshire beginning Nov. 21 in Durham. The Huskies are coming a weekend sweep of
no.11 Northeastern. The Huskies erased a 3-goal deficit to force overtime where Joey
Muldowney scored the game winner.
» Weekend Warriors: Jake Percival and Ethan Gardula both pushed the Huskies to victory
with multiple goals this past weekend. Gardula finished the weekend with two goals,
while Percival finished the weekend with four goals, including a Hat Trick Friday night
to help sweep the Huskies.
» The last time these two teams faced off was in January where the Huskies came away
with a Sweep over the surging Wildcats. The weekend featured a combined 10 goals.
» The Huskies are led by Tabor Heaslip, Mike Murtagh and Jake Richard, all with 8 total
points. While Joey Muldowney, Ethan Gardula, Kaden Shahan and Alexandre Blais all
have seven points this season.
» Well Rounded: 19 Huskies have registered a point this season. Of the 19, 10 are either
freshman or sophomores.
» The Huskies leadership group consists of Tabor Heaslip (Captain), with Joey Muldowney, Ryan Tattle and Viking Gustafsson Nyberg serving as Assistant Captains.
» Despite returning an experienced group, the Huskies welcome 7 talented newcomers
including 3 NHL Draft picks (Brendan Dunphy, Anthony Allain-Samake, Alex Blais)
» The Huskies added experience to their coaching staff this offseason, as they welcomed
Alex Westlund as the team's new Goaltender coach following the departure of Vince
Staletti. Westlund has a plethora of experience most recently working with the Detroit
Red Wings (NHL).
» Huskies in the NHL: Marc Gatcomb has become the 9th Husky to reach the pros, having most recently been called up by the New York Islanders. Gatcomb joins, Chase
Bradley, Ruslan Iskhakov, Yan Kuznetsov, Todd Krygier, Cole Schneider, Max Letunov,
Adam Huska, and Tage Thompson as former Huskies to make it to the league.
