STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's hockey team has announced their schedule for the 2025-26 season. The Huskies will play 34 regular season games, including 24 Hockey East matchups. UConn will also be hosting the Nutmeg Classic from November 28-29 at the Toscano Family Ice Forum.
UConn will play one exhibition before the start of the season at Quinnipiac on September 20 at 3:00pm. The Huskies will begin the season with eight out of conference games in September and October. UConn will open the season in Storrs with a two-game series against St. Cloud (September 26-27). The Huskies will play three more two-game series at Clarkson (October 3-4), against Princeton (October 17-18), and at Mercyhurst (October 24-25).
UConn will kick off their Hockey East slate with a home and home against Holy Cross (November 1-2). The Huskies will play two game series against Boston College (November 7-8), Vermont (November 21-22), and Boston University (December 5-6) to close out the first half of the regular season.
UConn will host the Nutmeg Classic from November 28-29 at the Toscano Family Ice Forum. The Huskies opening matchup will be against Quinnipiac on November 28 at 3:00pm. UConn will play the winner/loser of Yale vs. Sacred Heart on November 29.
UConn will begin the second half of the regular season with a home and home against Providence (January 2-3). The Huskies will play a total of five two-game series in January against Hockey East foes, Maine (January 9-10), Merrimack (January 16-17), Northeastern (January 23-24), and New Hampshire (January 30-31).
The Huskies will close out the regular season with six Hockey East matchups in the month of February. UConn kicks off the month at Providence (February 6) and return home to face Boston College (February 7). The Huskies will then head to New Hampshire (February 13) and Boston University (February 14). UConn concludes the regular season at home against Northeastern (February 20), and Merrimack (February 21).
