Huskies Host Fairfield in Spring Opener

STORRS, Conn. — The UConn women's tennis team opens its 2026 spring season today with a home match against Fairfield University at 1 p.m.
The Huskies hold a dominant 10–0 all-time record against the Stags, including eight wins at home and two on the road. The two teams last met on Jan. 1, 2025, when UConn secured a 4–3 victory.
UConn enters the matchup coming off a strong 2024-25 season with a 16–5 overall record, including a 9–1 in BIG EAST conference play. Fairfield comes in with an 8–14 overall record and a 6–2 record in MAAC competition.
