UConn Set to Open Cross Country Season at Hartford

STORRS, Conn. - UConn women's cross country is set to compete for the first time this season at the University of Hartford Invitational on Saturday.
The Huskies return a strong core of experienced runners while welcoming a talented group of newcomers to the 2026 squad. UConn will look to build on a successful 2025 season, which saw the Huskies place fourth at the BIG EAST Championships and sixth at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships.
Theย Huskies runningย on Saturday areย Samantha Moore, Anique Poulin, Calista Mayer, Alyssa Suriano, Alexandra Morgan, and Katie McMorrow.
At last season's University of Hartford Invitational, all six Huskies who competed finished among the top 10.
