Huskies Gear Up for Home-and-Home Series with No. 6 Boston College

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's hockey team (7-4-1) continues its Hockey East slate this weekend as the team prepares for a home-and-home series against No. 6 Boston College. The Huskies travel to Chestnut Hill Friday afternoon for a 2:00 showdown, then return to the Freitas Ice Forum for Saturday's 3 p.m. home tilt.
Hockey East has partnered with CBS Sports Digital to begin the 2019-20 season, making all home men's and women's games available on CBS Sports Digital properties. The partnership kicks off with an early-season schedule that includes games provided for free on CBS SportsLive.

What to Know:
- Boston College leads the all-time series between the schools, 36-16-10.
- UConn and Boston College will wrap up their three-game regular season series this weekend. The Huskies took the first matchup 5-2 back on Nov. 9 – Viki Harkness netted two goals to help UConn give the fifth-ranked Eagles their first loss of the season.
- The Huskies are currently on a four-game unbeaten streak (3-0-1) dating back to a 7-0 Nov. 5 win over Brown. UConn also grabbed wins over No. 6 Boston College (5-2) and Maine (3-2), and battled to a 2-2 draw with Vermont.
- Natalie Snodgrass leads the UConn attack with 15 points on seven goals and eight assists, while Catherine Crawley has notched four goals and a team-high 10 assists to total 14 points.
- The Huskies sit 10th in the country in both team offense (3.00) and team defense (1.83).

Leading the Pack:
Chris MacKenzie enters his eighth season leading the UConn women's hockey team. MacKenzie has won over 100 games during his time at UConn and has been an instrumental part in turning the program around. In 2015-16, Mackenzie coached UConn to their first winning season since 2010.
