Huskies, Bears Set for Tuesday Night Clash

STORRS, Conn. – After being idle for a week, the UConn women's hockey team returns to the ice for a midweek matchup against the Brown Bears Tuesday night at the Freitas Ice Forum. Puck drop is set for 6:00 pm.

What to Know:
- The Huskies were off last week after competing in the first ever Women's Ice Breaker Tournament Oct. 25 and 26. UConn went 0-2 on the weekend, falling to Colgate (6-2) and Mercyhurst (3-1).
- Three players have tallied six points for UConn. Junior Morgan Wabick paces the Huskies with four goals and two assists while senior captain Catherine Crawley has dished out a team-high five assists to go along with one score.
- Three goaltenders have seen action for UConn, with Morgan Fisher and Samantha Carpentier-Yelle each playing in four games apiece. Carpentier-Yelle leads the team with a 1.52 goals-against average and a .924 save percentage.
- Brown holds a 12-8-3 advantage in the all-time series against UConn. The Huskies were unable to prevent a Brown comeback in last season's matchup, dropping a 5-3 decision.
Leading the Pack:
Chris MacKenzie enters his eighth season leading the UConn women's hockey team. MacKenzie has won over 100 games during his time at UConn and has been an instrumental part in turning the program around. In 2015-16, Mackenzie coached UConn to their first winning season since 2010.
