Huskies Continue Conference Action versus Temple

STORRS, Conn. – Continuing its American Athletic Conference slate, UConn women's lacrosse (2-10, 0-1) prepares to host the Temple Owls (3-8, 0-1) on Saturday, April 6, at 1:00 p.m. ET at the Sherman Family Complex.
Additionally, Saturday is our Alumni game! We're inviting all former UConn women's lacrosse players to come out and support the Huskies. At the conclusion of tomorrow's game, there will be a postgame happy hour at Huskies Tavern from 4-6pm. Make sure you don't forget to wear white!

Opponent and Series History…
- UConn holds a slight 5-3 all-time mark on the field against Temple. The Huskies have won the last two matchups, including a dominating 16-7 victory over the Owls last year in Philadelphia.
- Temple enters Saturday's contest coming off a 15-8 defeat to No. 17 Florida in the AAC opener for both squads.

Caitlin Leary cashed in twice for the Huskies, while classmates Lia LaPrise and Jordan Coulon notched one goal apiece, respectively. Goalie Grace Beshlian racked up 13 saves in the loss.
