BSB Closes Regular Season at Tulane

NEW ORLEANS - The UConn baseball team (31-21, 10-11 American) closes the 2019 regular season at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium, home to the Tulane Green Wave. The series begins on Thursday, May 16 at 7:30 ET. All three games will be on 91.7 FM WHUS or online at whus.org.
The Huskies enter the weekend at 10-11 in the American Athletic Conference and could still finish as high as second and as low as eighth in the conference standings.Â
UConn is coming off a midweek win at Rhode Island to move to 10-1 against Northeast opponents this season.The victory was the 556th of head coach Jim Penders' career and ties him with Andy Baylock for most in UConn history.
The Huskies are 6-7 all-time against the Green Wave and won a home series vs. Tulane in 2018. The team is looking to grab its first win in New Orleans since 2015.
After the three-game series wraps up on Sunday, the Huskies will head to Clearwater, Fla. for the American Athletic Conference Championship. Eight team will battle in a double-elimination format beginning on Tuesday, May 21.
