BSB Loses Championship Game to Cincinnati

CLEARWATER, Fla. – The UConn baseball team lost the American Athletic Conference Championship game to Cincinnati, 22-5, on Sunday afternoon at Spectrum Field.
The Huskies (36-23) will await their destination for the 2019 NCAA Tournament with the NCAA Selection Show on Monday, May 27 at noon on ESPNU.
With their performances in the conference tournament, Jake Wallace and Chris Winkel were named to the All-Tournament team.
Chris Winkel recorded a multi-hit effort in the loss with a two-run single and a double.
Anthony Prato recorded a pair of hits in the losing effort.
Sunday was the third championship game in the past four years for the Huskies.
