WHOC Hosts No. 10 BU on Friday Night

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's hockey team (0-3-1) faces off against No. 10 Boston University (3-2) on Friday, Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. at the Mark Freitas Ice Forum.
The Huskies lost a pair of games against Boston College last weekend but senior Savannah Bouzide continues to produce on the offensive end with three goals against the Eagles over the weekend. The UConn center currently leads Hockey East and is tied for second in the nation with five goals this season.
The Terriers opened their season last weekend at New Hampshire, splitting with the Wildcats. Senior Jessie Compher and sophomore Julia Nearis both scored goals in each of the first two contests. Goalie Corinne Schroeder currently leads Hockey East with a 1.00 GAA
Boston University won all three contests against the Huskies in 2019-20 and have won five-straight. UConn is 11-29-7 overall vs. the Terriers and are seeking their first win since January 10, 2017.
Friday's contest will be a "flex" game and will not currently count towards Hockey East standings.
