WHOC Continues Hockey East Play at Vermont

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's hockey team (14-12-2, 11-8-2 WHEA) heads to Burlington, Vt., this weekend for a Hockey East road series against the Vermont Catamounts. Friday's game is set for a 6:00 puckdrop while Saturday's contest is slated for a 4:00 pm start.
Hockey East has partnered with CBS Sports Digital to begin the 2019-20 season, making all home men's and women's games available on CBS Sports Digital properties. The partnership kicks off with an early-season schedule that includes games provided for free on CBS SportsLive.

What to Know:
- UConn owns the all-time series against UVM, 27-10-6. The Huskies and Catamounts battled to a 2-2 tie in their first matchup earlier this season.
- Catherine Crawley's 24 points (11g, 13a) leads the UConn attack, with Natalie Snodgrass closely behind with 23 points (10g, 13a). Briana Colangelo (18), Taylor Wabick (15) Morgan Wabick (15), Danielle Fox (13) and Savannah Bouzide (10) are the other five Huskies with double figure points.
- Vermont (9-13-7, 6-11-5 WHEA) enters the week following a 2-2 tie with Holy Cross.
Leading the Pack:
Chris MacKenzie enters his eighth season leading the UConn women's hockey team. MacKenzie has won over 100 games during his time at UConn and has been an instrumental part in turning the program around. In 2015-16, Mackenzie coached UConn to their first winning season since 2010.
