Huskies to Host Weekend Series Vs. Maine

STORRS, Conn. – The University of Connecticut women's hockey team gears up for a two game Hockey East showdown verse Maine University. UConn will host Maine Friday November 12 and Saturday November 13. Puck Drop for Friday's game is at 6:00 p.m.
Last Time Out
The Huskies head into the weekend series with an 11-1 overall record and a 6-1 record in Hockey East action. The Huskies defeated Brown University 3-0 Tuesday night behind goals from Coryn Tormala, Viki Harkness and Morgan Wabick. The last matchup between the Huskies and Black Bears was October 15 which ended in a 1-0 victory for UConn.
Scouting the Black Bears
Maine will travel to Storrs following a 4-1 win over Colby College. Sophomore Ida Kuoppala leads the way for Maine with 10 goals and five assists in 16 games played.
Parking
Due to ongoing construction of the new ice hockey facility, and a Special Olympics event taking place on the Rec. Turf, all fans planning to attend the games are encouraged to park in South Garage. Parking attendants will be staffing I-Lot this weekend and will direct fans to South Garage.

Following the weekend series, UConn will remain at home for a tough Hockey East battle verse Providence College Friday November 19. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
