WHOC Set For Semifinal Matchup at No. 1 Northeastern

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's hockey team is set for a Hockey East semifinal match up against No. 1 Northeastern on Wednesday, March 3 at 4:30 p.m. at Matthews Arena. The game will be broadcasted on NESN.
The Huskies are riding a season-high four game win streak after knocking off No. 2 seeded Boston College on Sunday evening in Chestnut Hill. Morgan Wabick posted a pair of goals while Savannah Bouzide dished out three assists in the UConn victory.
UConn reaches the semifinal round of the Hockey East tournament for the third time in four years.
The two programs met only once this season with Northeastern winning 2-0 on January 26. Overall, the Huskies are 18-38-11 and have lost nine in a row dating back to their last win in February of 2018.
Natalie Snodgrass earned Third Team Hockey East All-Star honors on Saturday while Jada Habisch and Tia Chan landed on the ProAmbitions Hockey East All-Rookie team.
