Huskies Face Off Against Boston College Friday

STORRS, Conn. – The University of Connecticut women's hockey team welcomes Hockey East foe Boston College to Storrs on Friday January 28. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
UConn welcomes Boston College following a two-game sweep of the University of New Hampshire. Graduate student Natalie Snodgrass remained hot as she scored two goals in two games for the Huskies. The wins were also highlighted by a 24 save shutout performance by freshman goaltender Megan Warrener.
The last time these two teams faced off against each other ended in a thrilling OT win for UConn which featured a total of seven goals between the two teams.
Boston College enters the matchup Friday posting a 13-11 overall record and an 11-8 record in Hockey East action. The Eagles are coming off wins over Providence College and Holy Cross. In the two games the Eagles combined for a total of seven goals while only allowing three.

Following the matchup with Boston College, the Huskies will travel to face Holy Cross. Due to the inclement weather that's expected to hit the Northeast on Saturday, the game between UConn and Holy Cross has been moved to Sunday January 30. Puck drop is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
