Huskies set for Hockey East Road Trip

STORRS, Conn. – The University of Connecticut women's hockey team prepares for a Hockey East road trip as they take on Boston University Friday at 7:00 p.m. and University of New Hampshire Saturday at 3:00p.m.
UConn enters the two-game road trip with an 20-6-2 overall record and a 14-5-2 record in Hockey East Action. The Huskies currently sit at third place in Hockey East .16 percentage points behind second place. Graduate students Natalie Snodgrass and Morgan Wabick along with senior Viki Harkness currently lead the Huskies with a team high 23 points. UConn currently sits at 2-0 vs Boston University and University of New Hampshire on the season.
The Terriers welcome the Huskies Friday night with an 10-10-4 overall record and a 9-6-3 conference record. The Terriers are currently coming off a 4-1 loss to Harvard in the Beanpot tournament. Senior Courtney Correia currently leads Boston with 10 goals and eight assists for 18 points on the season.
University of New Hampshire welcomes UConn Saturday posting an 9-15-2 overall record and a 7-11-1 conference record. Leading the way for the wildcats is freshman Kira Juodikis with 12 goals and and seven assists for 19 points.

Following the two-game road trip for the Huskies, UConn will return home as the welcome Providence February 11 for their annual skating strides game. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
