WEST POINT, N.Y. -Â The UConn women's soccer team fought back with a late goal in the second half of its season opener to earn a 1-1 draw at Army on Thursday evening at Malek Stadium at Clinton Field.
The Huskies controlled large stretches of Thursday's match against the Black Knights but after a foul was called inside the UConn box at the 74:14 mark, Lauren Drysdale converted her penalty kick to give Army a 1-0 advantage.Â
