FH Faces Providence and No.12 Boston College

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn field hockey team (5-8, 2-2 BIG EAST) will square off against BIG EAST opponent, Providence, on Friday at 1 p.m. at home in Storrs, CT, and then will head to Newton, MA for a 12 p.m. matchup against the No.12 Boston College Eagles.
The Huskies are coming off a 1-1 weekend after a BIG EAST victory against Quinnipiac in overtime, before falling on the road to No.19 UMass.
UConn has played a tough schedule this fall, squaring off against six top-20 teams, with three more to play down the stretch. Grad transfer student, Julianna Kratz, is the leading goal-scorer for the Huskies with six goals. Sophomore, Julia Bressler, has four goals on the season, while Belle Bressler and Sol Simone each have three.
The Huskies are 37-8-3 all-time against the Friars, and are 26-13-1 against the Eagles. Friday's game will be broadcast on the BIG EAST Digital Network, and you can catch the Huskies on the ACC Network on Sunday afternoon.
