Huskies Set for Match at Villanova

VILLANOVA, Pa. – The UConn field hockey team (4-6, 1-1) is set for an afternoon match at conference-opponent, Villanova, on Friday, September 29th.
The Huskies are coming off a two-win weekend at home as they took down in-conference opponent, Georgetown, and then-No.20 Delaware. UConn scored seven goals during their winning weekend, three of which came from grad transfer, Julianna Kratz. Kratz was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week as a result. The Huskies are on a win-streak after their defeat of Princeton two weekends ago, and they'll look to continue that into the weekend.
The Villanova Wildcats (5-4, 2-0) are coming off a 1-1 weekend as they beat conference-opponent, Quinnipiac, to boost themselves to 2-0 in BIG EAST play, but were defeated by the Fairfield Stags on Sunday afternoon in double overtime.
The game will start at 4pm and will be streamed on FloSports.
