WHOC Secures Road Win at Maine, 3-2

ORONO, Maine - The UConn women's hockey team (7-4-1, 4-2-1 HE) secured a 3-2 road win at Maine on Sunday afternoon at the Harold Alfont Sports Arena.
Catherine Crowley scored the deciding goal on a feed from Natalie Snodgrass at the 10:07 mark in the third period. The senior forward skillfully maneuvered around the defender to create space in order to notch the game-winner.
The Huskies came from behind multiple times in the second period with Savannah Bouzide capitalizing on a power play goal 4:54 into the frame to make it 1-1. It was the third goal of the season for the Amherstburg, Ontario native who teed up a one timer on a feed from Viki Harkness.
Leading scorer Natalie Snodgrass had the honors after the Black Bears made it 2-1 late in the second. The junior tallied the tying goal at 13:40 mark after Crawley was able to slip a pass across for the Eagan, Minn. native to tap in.
After the victory, the Huskies move to an impressive 5-0 on the road this season.
The Huskies return to the ice on Friday, No. 22 at Boston College at 2 p.m. from Conte Forum in Chesnut Hill, Mass.
