WHOC Competing in Home-and-Home against No. 3 Northeastern

STORRS, Conn. – UConn's women's hockey team is primed to take on the third-ranked Northeastern Huskies in a home-and-home Hockey East series this weekend, beginning at Matthews Arena Friday, Jan. 17 at 6:00 pm. The Huskies will close out the series at Freitas Ice Forum Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm.
Hockey East has partnered with CBS Sports Digital to begin the 2019-20 season, making all home men's and women's games available on CBS Sports Digital properties. The partnership kicks off with an early-season schedule that includes games provided for free on CBS SportsLive.

What to Know:
- UConn comes into the matchup at 12-9-1 and 9-5-1 in Hockey East action. The Huskies went 1-1 last weekend against UNH, winning the first matchup 4-0 before falling in overtime, 1-0, in the second game.
- Northeastern (17-3-1) leads the all-time series 36-18-10.
- Natalie Snodgrass leads the UConn attack with 21 points on nine goals and 12 assists, while Catherine Crawley has notched eight goals and a team-high 12 assists for 20 points. Briana Colangelo (15), Taylor Wabick (12) and Morgan Wabick (12) are the other three Huskies with double figure points.
Leading the Pack:
Chris MacKenzie enters his eighth season leading the UConn women's hockey team. MacKenzie has won over 100 games during his time at UConn and has been an instrumental part in turning the program around. In 2015-16, Mackenzie coached UConn to their first winning season since 2010.
