Huskies to Celebrate Senior Night Friday With Home and Home Vs. Northeastern

STORRS, Conn. – The University of Connecticut women's hockey team welcomes Northeastern University for senior night and their final home game of the 2021-2022 regular season Friday night. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:00pm at Freitas Ice Forum in Storrs.
UConn heads into this matchup with Northeastern with a 22-7-3 overall record and a 16-6-3 record in Hockey East action. Prior to puck drop, UConn will be recognizing and honoring 10 student athletes who will be graduating this spring. Leading the way for the Huskies are graduate students Morgan Wabick and Natalie Snodgrass along with senior Viki Harkness. That trio is currently tied for the team lead with 26 points.
Northeastern enters the Friday's matchup ranked fourth in the country as well as first in Hockey East. Northeastern enters the home and home series with UConn with a 26-4-1 overall record and a 20-3-1 record in Hockey East action. Leading the way for the Huskies is senior Maureen Murphy who has 23 goals and 20 assists on the year.
The home and home series between UConn Northeastern will wrap up regular season play for both teams. Northeastern has clinched the number 1 seed for the Hockey East playoffs as well as the regular season title. UConn currently sits in third place in Hockey East.

Following Friday nights game for UConn, they will travel to Northeastern for Saturday's game and the second game of the home and home. Puck drop is scheduled for 3:00pm.
