» The Huskies are headed back to the TD Garden as they are set to Face off against Bos-
ton College in the Hockey East Semifinals. Puck drop is scheduled for 7pm
» This will be the third matchup between UConn and Boston College this season. Boston
College won the two matchups in the regular season, taking game 1 in Boston by a final
of 5-2 and then game 2 in Hartford by a final of 2-1 in OT.
» The Huskies took down Boston University by a final of 5-3 to advance to the Hockey
East Semifinals. The Huskies received goals from Jake Percival, Jake Richard, Ethan
Whitcomb, Anthony Allain-Samake and Joey Muldowney.
» Hockey East Awards: Tabor Heaslip has been named Hockey East Best Defensive For-
ward, while Ryan Tattle and Joey Muldowney were named Second Team All-Stars and
Tyler Muszelik was Named 3rd Team All-Star.
» The Huskies have received contributions from all 4 lines this season. Ryan Tattle leads
the Huskies with 31 points, Joey Muldowney leads the Huskies with 17 goals and Ryan
Tattle and Jake Richard have dished out 18 and 17 assists respectively.
» Best Ability is Availability: Saturday's game marked the 144-game played by seniors
Tom Messineo and Tabor Heaslip. Neither senior missed a game during their four-year
career and set the program record for most games played in the Hockey East Era.
» Hockey Humanitarian Finalist: Senior Ryan Tattle has been named a finalist for the
Hockey Humanitarian Award. Tattle is one of five finalists named by the Hockey Humanitarian Committee. This past winter break, Tattle hosted his 5th annual Score for
Cancer game. Following the completion of the game Sat. Dec. 20, Tattle has raised over
$180,000 for Cancer Research.
» Huskies in the NHL: Marc Gatcomb has become the 9th Husky to reach the pros, having most recently been called up by the New York Islanders. Gatcomb joins, Chase
Bradley, Ruslan Iskhakov, Yan Kuznetsov, Todd Krygier, Cole Schneider, Max Letunov,
Adam Huska, and Tage Thompson as former Huskies to make it to the league.
