STORRS, Conn. – The No. 3 UConn field hockey team suffered its second-straight home defeat to a top-five team with a 5-2 loss to No. 5 Princeton on Sunday afternoon at a packed Sherman Sports Complex.

The UConn defense did a nice job to keep it a 1-0 deficit at the half while redshirt freshman Cheyenne Sprecher made a couple quality saves for the Huskies.
UConn immediately came out of the half firing by drawing a penalty corner that led to the Huskies first shot on goal of the game from Cecile Pieper that was knocked away by the Tiger's goalie.
